关于作者
R.S.托马斯（Ronald Stuart Thomas，1913 - 2000），威尔士诗坛泰斗，二十世纪最强硬，最纯洁，最持久的抒情诗人之一。他的诗歌创作大致可以分为两个阶段，七十年代以前的诗作主要是关于威尔士的乡民与风光，历史与文化，以及他们自己做牧师的体验。从七十年代起诗人与“隐身上帝”的对话，探索人类内在的精神世界，所以他又有当代最伟大的宗教诗人之称。
