Timbaland与OneRepublic合作的单曲Apologize，选自专辑《Timbaland Presents Shock Value》。
格莱美得奖音乐制作人Timbaland崛起于90年代末期，是一个真正意义上的畅销单曲缔造者，来自britishhitsongwriters网站的数据称，若按照制作的歌曲在榜单上的成绩统计，Timbaland是英国流行音乐榜有史以来排名第22位的成功编曲人。很少有嘻哈音乐制作人能像Timbaland一样在商业化和制作水准中找到如此的平衡点， Timbaland合作的艺人几乎是清一色的大牌，诸如Missy Elliott、Aaliyah、Jay-Z、Ginuwine、Ludacris、Snoop Dogg、Nas和Justin Timberlake等，而一些名气稍小的歌手或者新人也通过他的制作取得了音乐生涯中的重大突破，最典型的例子是Petey Pablo、Bubba Sparxxx和Tweet等。
Timbaland从出道到两千年早期的作品，特别是他自己的说唱专辑里都很少用到取样，这对一个嘻哈音乐制作人来说是很大的挑战。2002-03年开始，由于邀约过多，Timbaland逐渐开始增多了自己采样的频率，到了2006-07年左右，像他为Fabolous制作的“Make Me Better”和为Nelly Furtado制作的“Promiscuous”都成了一段取样加上一个鼓组的简化程序。不过，Timbaland的制作仍是歌手拿到排行榜佳绩的最佳选择之一，与此同时，Timbaland也逐渐开始为嘻哈音乐之外的艺人诸如Bjork、Ashlee Simpson、OneRepublic和Shakira等各类艺人制作歌曲，扩展了自己的业务范围。（网络整理）
