Greg Laswell 拥有相当多的头衔：musician，recording engineer，producer。同时他又被归为才气歌手所属的 Singer-songwriter 类别。作为一名比较传统的 Singer-songwriter，原声吉他、钢琴就是必不可少的乐器，于是在这两样乐器的伴奏之下，Greg Laswell 就创作出了一首首温情的歌曲。对于这样的温情派，我感觉就像某些清新 Indie 一样难以用语言描述听歌时的感觉，因为各人感觉不同，也就会产生不同看法，所以对于 Greg Laswell，我就只去介绍他的背景，音乐部分留给大家。
Greg Laswell，美国音乐家，录音师，制作人，创作歌手，1974年4月26日生于加利福尼亚州长滩市（Long Beach, California），现居纽约市布鲁克林（Brooklyn, NY）。 1998至2001年曾为Shillglen乐队主唱。该乐队1999年发行专辑 Sometimes I Feel，后于2001年解散。
2003年自费发行第一张个人专辑《Good Movie》。后签约先锋唱片（Vanguard Records）。 2006年发行EP《Dead Air》，同年发行第二张个人专辑《Through Toledo》。其作品也经常出现在知名电影和电视剧中。 另外，Greg Laswell 也是一位浪漫才子，他和美国流行明星 Mandy Moore 还上演过一段罗曼史。（网络整理）
